has received several awards since its inception. Some of the
awards include:
JCPenney Golden Rule Award
Cowboys Against Cancer® was presented the JC
Penney Golden Rule Award in recognition of outstanding volunteer
service for the state of Wyoming in 2000. They were selected by a
distinguished panel of civic leaders in a state-wide competition. In
addition to the flame shaped crystal award, Cowboys Against Cancer®
received a $1,000 contribution and was in competition for the national award.
USA Weekend Magazine's Make a Difference Day
October 23, 1999 was the first time Cowboys Against Cancer®
participated in Make A Difference Day. We are proud of the Sweetwater County residents who participated to help Cowboys Against Cancer® win one of the two outstanding state projects award for Wyoming and a $2,000 cash contribution.
